Terms of service

Our role

Sou9y operates a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers in Algeria. We are not the seller. The contract of sale is between you and the seller, who prepares, delivers and collects payment for the order.

We handle no payments: settlement is in cash on delivery, directly to the seller or their carrier.

Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity carried out from your account; keep your password secret.
• One account per person. Creating a second account to escape a suspension is grounds for permanent closure.
• You may close your account at any time from Settings, provided you have no orders or auctions still in progress.

Orders

• Placing an order is a commitment to buy at the displayed price, payable on delivery.
• The seller confirms, ships, then delivers. You may cancel while the order is still unconfirmed.
• Prices, delivery fees and availability are set by the seller and are those shown when you order.
• If something is wrong with an item, contact the seller first; we step in if the dispute continues.

Auctions

Auctions follow firm rules, enforced automatically by the platform. The server clock decides.

• A bid is binding and cannot be withdrawn.
• Every bid must match the bid increment shown on the lot.
• A seller may not bid on their own lot.
• A bid placed in the final seconds extends the auction, so nobody can take a lot at the last instant without giving others a chance to answer.
• The winner has 48 hours to complete the purchase. After that the lot is lost to them and the failure is recorded.
• The seller has 7 days to ship. After that the sale is cancelled and the failure is recorded against them.

Failures and suspension

So that auctions stay credible, failing to honour a sale is recorded and counted over a rolling period.

• Buyer: 2 failures in 30 days, or 3 in a year, suspend the right to bid.
• Seller: 2 failures in a year suspend the right to list lots.
• A suspension affects auctions only: you keep access to the rest of the marketplace and to any sales or orders already in progress.
• Lifting a suspension is an administrator's decision. Write to support@sou9y.dz to ask for a review.
• A cancellation decided by the platform (a dispute, a refund, a mistake) is recorded against nobody.

Seller obligations

• List only goods you actually hold and that Algerian law permits you to sell.
• Describe items faithfully and use photographs of your own stock only.
• Keep your stock levels and delivery fees current.
• Deliver within the stated time and honour the displayed price.
• We may hide a listing or suspend a store that does not follow these rules.

Prohibited use

• Illegal, counterfeit or dangerous goods, or regulated goods sold without authorisation.
• Sham bidding, multiple accounts, price manipulation.
• Automated extraction of the site, or attempts to bypass its limits or security.
• Abusive or misleading content, or content infringing someone else's rights.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for the quality, conformity or delivery of the goods sold, which are the seller's responsibility. Nothing in these terms removes the rights Algerian law gives you as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Algerian law. Any dispute falls to the competent Algerian courts.
